Nature – Not Man – Controls CO2

The Physics & Chemistry of Carbon Dioxide Formation, Absorption, Gasification and Transport in the Earth’s Atmosphere & Hydrosphere

Tom Tamarkin and Bud Bromley June 20, 2024 A common misconception propagated by the media and alternative energy companies today is that man contributes to the increasing concentration of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere. This is simply not true. Atmospheric CO2 concentration is controlled by fundamental laws of physics and chemistry. Man could increase his current release of carbon dioxide from the burning of natural gas and fossil fuels by a factor of ten and the net total amount of CO2 in the atmosphere would be roughly the same as it is today. Conversely, if man eliminated his CO2 releases, the atmospheric …

Valentina Zharkova: “in next 30 yrs, global warming prob. will be last thing in our mind”

Graduated with first class with distinction degree in Applied Math from Kiev National University, Kiev, Ukraine (1975); did PhD in Astrophysics ‘Radiative transfer of solar prominences’ at Main Astronomical Observatory, Kiev, Ukraine, viva in 1984. Worked as Researcher/Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer at KNU (1975-1994). In 1992 moved to Glasgow University, UK as Senior Research Fellow to investigate energetic particles in solar flares. Discovered sunquakes induced by flaring processes, published a paper in Nature, 1998 with wide media coverage. In 2000 moved to Bradford University as Lecturer, then Reader (2002) and Professor of Applied Mathematics (2005). Joined Northumbria University in September 2013 …

Terrestrial Temperature, Sea Levels and Ice Area Links with Solar Activity and Solar Orbital Motion

Valentina V. Zharkova1, Irina Vasilieva DOI: 10.4236/ns.2023.159018 Natural Science > Vol.15 No.9, September 2023 Abstract This paper explores the links between terrestrial temperature, sea levels and ice areas in both hemispheres with solar activity indices expressed through averaged sunspot numbers together with the summary curve of eigenvectors of the solar background magnetic field (SBMF) and with changes of Sun-Earth distances caused by solar inertial motion resulting from the gravitation of large planets in the solar system. Using the wavelet analysis of the GLB and HadCRUTS datasets two periods: 21.4 and 36 years in GLB, set and the period of about …

Willie Soon: Bad Data: Are NASA, NOAA and EPA Violating the Data Quality Act?

Dr. Willie Soon, an astrophysicist and geoscientist, is a leading authority on the relationship between solar phenomena and global climate. In this 32+ years of singular pursuit, he seeks to understand the Sun-Earth relations in terms of not only meteorology and climate, but also in terms of orbital dynamics of Sun-Earth-other planets interactions, magmatic (volcanoes) and tectonic (earthquakes) activities. His discoveries challenge computer modelers and advocates who consistently underestimate solar influences on cloud formation, ocean currents, and wind that cause climate to change. He has faced and risen above unethical and often libelous attacks on his research and his character, …

Carbon Dioxide is Good

Carbon Dioxide is Good. It is needed for photosynthesis and life on this planet. A much higher carbon dioxide level increases plant growth and drought resistance. It is the result of temperature change not the cause of it. However, if it could warm the planet, that would mean a longer growing season and more food production.

Looking For A Billion-Dollar Payday, Calif. Sues Big Oil Over Climate Change

Climate Dispatch by Will Kessler | Sep 19, 2023. The state of California filed a lawsuit Saturday against major oil companies, claiming that their production of fossil fuels has contributed to climate change and natural disasters. The suit, which was filed in the Superior Court of California in the County of San Francisco, alleges that deception by the defendants caused a delayed societal response to global warming and that their misconduct has greatly affected people, property, and natural resources, according to court filings. [emphasis, links added] The suit targets oil companies Exxon, Shell, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, BP, and the trade group …

SEC Chairman Gary Gensler Tells Congress A Climate Whopper

SEC chairman Gary Gensler Climate Change Dispatch Written by WSJ Editorial Board on Sep 18, 2023. Posted in Latest news When is a climate policy not a climate policy? Apparently when Chairman Gary Gensler of the Securities and Exchange Commission is trying to disguise the intent of his forthcoming climate-disclosure rule while testifying before Congress. The SEC last spring proposed a highly controversial rule that would require public companies to disclose their putative climate risks and greenhouse gas emissions, including those of suppliers and customers. [emphasis, links added] The rule is expected to be finalized soon and will likely meet …

Davos Elite’s Vision Of Your Future

Welcome to the inaugural episode of Davos Watch. This episode dives into a report by the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group, scrutinizing the actions and agendas of global elites from Davos to the UN. The report outlines ambitious targets for 2030 in areas such as meat consumption, clothing purchases, and personal transportation.

Sen. John Kennedy Grilling Energy Secretary on Carbon Neutrality in Hearing

Senator John Kennedy says “…I am all for carbon neutrality….” Thus on the one hand David Turk of the DOE says to him “We need to spend $50 trillion to achieve carbon neutrality in the US.” The Senator traps him into acknowledging that he has zero idea if or how this will affect the Earth’s “global temperature” (a pseudoscience term) in terms of degrees Centigrade. However, at timeline mark 01:08 the Senator says “Now I am all for carbon neutrality.” How can a responsible senator be all for something costing trillions of dollars if he does not know the benefits …
